Chinese TV Drama Creativity Shines: US Applauds Hits like "Creation of the Gods"

As reported by The Paper, on September 28, the State Council Information Office held a series of theme press conferences titled "Insights from Authoritative Sources." The conference provided detailed insights into the high-quality development of radio, television, and online audiovisual content in China, as well as the brilliant achievements of Chinese socialist culture with unique characteristics, while addressing questions from journalists.

Ms. Cao Shumin, Deputy Minister of the Central Propaganda Department and Director of the National Radio and Television Administration, stated that China has become a major producer of artistic and creative content in radio, television, and online audiovisual media. The country boasts over 56,000 production and operating organizations, with Chinese TV dramas leading the world in annual production. Documentaries, animated films, and cultural programs also maintain a global edge. In the first half of this year, a wide variety of thematic works were released, including 70 television dramas, 112 web series, and 272 micro-drama series. Among them, outstanding productions such as "Creation of the Gods," "Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms," "Oppenheimer," and others have gained immense popularity among viewers, sparking a fervor of interest.
